About the role

Your Opportunity:

This position plays a critical role in supporting the daily operations and overall effectiveness of the Training & Development Unit (TDU). As the Administrative III, you will act as a point of coordination for administrative processes, ensuring training programs and operational support run smoothly and efficiently. Working closely with two Managers, you will provide administrative support, manage competing priorities, and maintain accurate records that directly support training delivery and workforce readiness. This role requires a strong ability to anticipate needs, manage multiple workflows simultaneously, and exercise sound judgment in handling sensitive information and time-sensitive requests. Beyond traditional administrative duties, the role is deeply integrated into training operations. You will contribute to the success of program delivery by maintaining training databases, supporting onboarding logistics, assisting with materials and equipment, timekeeping, and ensuring all documentation and records meet organizational standards. The ideal candidate thrives in a structured yet fast-paced environment, highly detail-oriented, and takes pride in keeping systems organized and running efficiently. You are proactive, resourceful, and comfortable collaborating with multiple stakeholders while also working independently. Description:

As an Administrative Support III, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Non GDL Class 5 driver’s License. Must be able to stand for prolonged periods. Prolonged sitting for computer use. Lifting boxes up to 40lbs to support TDU operations Require good physical condition, and ability to stand, crouch, bend, kneel, grasp, push, and pull.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiar with AHS used applications: Introduction to iExpense and iProcurement. Markview. MS- Office (Outlook Mail, Calendar Booking, SharePoint, Teams, Word, Access, Power Point, and Excel). Familiar with a Peace officer environment.
