About the role

Our client, located in Grande Prairie, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join their team. This role is a strategic partner to leadership, providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, HR programs, and organizational development initiatives while ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policies.

Key Responsibilities Partner with leaders to develop, communicate, and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices. Provide coaching and guidance on employee relations, performance management, workplace investigations, and conflict resolution. Support the development and execution of HR strategies, programs, and departmental objectives. Coordinate and facilitate employee training, onboarding, and professional development initiatives. Ensure compliance with employment standards, occupational health and safety requirements, benefits legislation, and other applicable employment laws. Assist with organizational development, workforce planning, and change management initiatives. Maintain accurate HR records and support continuous improvement of HR processes and systems. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of progressive Human Resources experience, including at least 4 years in an exempt/professional-level HR role. Strong knowledge of Alberta employment legislation and HR best practices. Proven ability to build strong relationships with leaders and employees at all levels. Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
