Current Opportunity: Proposal Team Manager (1 year Contract role) Location: Canada Onsite/Hybrid/Remote: Remote or hybrid depending on your proximity to our Toronto or Montreal office Salary: $85-90k CAD a year plus we offer a competitive range of benefits
What you will do:
We are looking for a skilled Proposal Manager to manage the development of business proposals. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent project management skills, and the ability to produce compelling proposals that meet client requirements and drive business growth. The Proposal Team Manager will also manage the proposal development process, ensuring timely and high-quality submissions.
Responsibilities: Lead Proposal Development: Oversee the end-to-end proposal process, from initial request to final submission, ensuring compliance with client requirements and internal standards. Team Management: Supervise and mentor a team of proposal writers, coordinators, and subject matter experts, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment. Strategic Planning: Develop proposal strategies that effectively address client needs and highlight our company’s value proposition. Quality Assurance: Review and edit proposal content for clarity, consistency, and compliance, ensuring a compelling and persuasive narrative. Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, legal, and technical teams to gather necessary information and insights for proposals. Process Improvement: Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the proposal development process. Deadline Management: Ensure all proposals are completed and submitted on time, adhering to internal and external deadlines.
Qualifications/Skills: Minimum of 10 years in proposal management and/or 5 years in a leadership role. Experience in EAP is preferred Strong project management and organizational abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office Suite and proposal management software. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple proposals simultaneously. Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
