About the role
Location: Halton Hills, Ontario Work Arrangement: Full-time, on-site Salary: $60,000 to $70,000, based on experience
We are recruiting a 3PL Freight Dispatcher on behalf of a growing transportation and logistics company in Halton Hills, Ontario.
The successful candidate will be assigned a dedicated territory covering Eastern Canada and the United States, Western Canada and the United States, or domestic Canadian transportation.
Responsibilities Book and coordinate freight shipments within an assigned territory Source and develop relationships with trucking companies and carriers Negotiate competitive rates while maintaining service quality and margins Secure reliable carrier capacity for customer shipments Coordinate pickup and delivery requirements Monitor shipments and provide timely updates to customers and internal teams Respond to service issues, delays and customer concerns Maintain accurate shipment, carrier and pricing information Communicate consistently with carriers, customers and internal departments
Qualifications At least one year of 3PL dispatching, freight brokerage or transportation experience Experience coordinating freight across Canada or between Canada and the United States Strong carrier sourcing, negotiation and relationship-building skills Excellent written and verbal communication Strong organizational and time-management abilities Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office Experience with Loadlink, Salesforce, Revenova or a similar platform is an asset
Compensation and Benefits Salary of $60,000 to $70,000, based on experience Monthly bonus eligibility after three months 100% company-paid benefits after three months Two weeks of paid vacation Paid sick, personal and birthday days Employee Assistance Program Rewards and recognition program
