We have everything we need to inspire our customers. Except you. Reporting to the Returns Supervisor, the Returns Administrator is responsible for managing product returns to the warehouse. This includes identifying returning products, locating information in the system, and preparing and processing paperwork. At Trail Appliances, we don't just deliver products; we deliver experiences. As a Reverse Logistics Administrator, you will have the following responsibilities Work with departments to ensure the return procedure is followed, moving returned products through appropriate channels while minimizing financial impact. Ensure supplier billings and damage allowances are completed in a timely manner. Coordinate and resolve various problems and issues, such as incomplete or missing paperwork. Communicate with the parts department to ensure correct parts are ordered for damaged appliances. Investigate and resolve any supplier billing discrepancies. Provide phone support to delivery teams when concealed damage on a product is encountered. Ensure all paperwork is filed appropriately for easy retrieval. File and record daily returns data. Assist in creating and updating standard operating procedures. Determine causes of customer returns and assist in implementing policies and procedures to prevent returns. Accurately input daily returns data and analyze daily reports, moving through defective product as quickly as possible. Understand unique supplier policies regarding damage and repairs, ensuring that open orders are monitored through to completion. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring that workspaces, equipment, and common areas are kept tidy and free from clutter. Perform all other duties as assigned.

To be successful in this role, you should have: Proficient in Microsoft Office programs. Intermediate Excel skills and/or other data and analytic tools. Superior customer service and relationship management skills. Ability to prioritize work activities effectively. Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal). A self-starter with the ability to take initiative and think critically to seek out information and solutions independently. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Experience working independently, as well as in partnership with other team members. Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment requiring strong organization, time management, and prioritization skills, with the confidence to adapt to change as necessary. Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. Bonus Points If You Have: Invoicing experience. Strong working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases. Warehouse experience, including wrapping, tagging, and dollying items. SYSPRO and Zendesk knowledge is preferred. Passionate About: Actively facilitating change and improvement within the department. Working with others to achieve individual and shared team goals. Working through tight deadlines while change is a constant. Work Environment: Full-time position Saturday-Tuesday. Start time: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM.
