About the role

As an IT Support Analyst, you will provide operational support and administration for IT asset management, telecommunications services, software asset management, procurement coordination, vendor management, and financial governance activities across the organization. Your goal will be to ensure the effective management of technology assets, vendor relationships, procurement processes, financial controls, and operational reporting while continuously identifying opportunities to improve service delivery and operational efficiency. Your success will depend on maintaining accurate asset and financial records, building strong stakeholder relationships, driving process improvements, and delivering meaningful analysis and reporting that supports informed business decisions. What We Offer: Work Environment – Work in our beautiful home office building with access to a fitness facility, onsite nurse, and a café Competitive Compensation – Including an annual bonus plan, pension plan, and parking allowance Flexible Benefits Plan – In effect from day one and offers three levels of coverage to select from to meet your unique, personal needs Paid Vacation – Plus an annual option to purchase additional vacation, too Wellness Support – With an annual wellness allowance, paid personal care days and a 24/7 Employee & Family Assistance Program Opportunity to give back to some amazing causes in our community – Choose when and where to make an impact with a paid volunteer day, company volunteer opportunities, and a donation matching program Your Responsibilities: Manage the lifecycle of telecommunications, data services, and nonstandard software assets while maintaining accurate inventory and asset records Perform asset reconciliation activities including vendor record validation, invoice audits, inventory reviews, and service disconnect verification Coordinate IT procurement requests from initiation through fulfillment, ensuring required approvals, documentation, and quotations are accurately maintained Review, validate, reconcile, and process telecommunications and software invoices while investigating and resolving billing discrepancies Support software asset management activities, including nonstandard software requests, licensing compliance, acquisitions, and vendor coordination Develop, maintain, and improve business processes, standard operating procedures, knowledge articles, and operational documentation Prepare operational reports, dashboards, and analysis that support decision making, cost optimization, service improvement, and stakeholder reporting Support vendor and contract management activities including contract reviews, renewals, performance evaluations, and service delivery discussions Collaborate with business stakeholders, Finance, Supply Management, vendors, and IT teams to identify risks, improve processes, and enhance service delivery Your Skills: Strong knowledge of IT asset management, software asset management, telecommunications services, procurement processes, and financial controls Experience working with enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow, Workday, Oracle, Inspyrus, Microsoft 365, and reporting tools Strong analytical, problem-solving, financial management, and data interpretation capabilities Excellent communication, stakeholder relationship management, and collaboration skills Ability to develop process documentation, operational procedures, reports, and knowledge management resources Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement Your Experience: Post-secondary education in Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field Experience supporting IT asset management, telecommunications services, software licensing, procurement, vendor management, or financial operations Experience with invoice reconciliation, contract administration, procurement coordination, and operational reporting Irving Oil is committed to supporting a diverse and inclusive work environment.
