The OUAC is seeking to fill the position of Reception / Office Coordinator to provide reception coverage while supporting Human Resources administration and general office operations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department supporting processes and employee initiatives
  • Support office coordination and administrative activities to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Oversee reception operations and provide administrative support

Qualifications Sought

  • Minimum 3 years of progressive work experience supporting reception, office operations, and/or HR administrative functions

Abilities/Skills for the Ideal Candidate

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite with the ability to learn and utilize additional systems
  • Ability to absorb and retain large amounts of information
  • Effective listening and speaking skills; diplomacy, tact, patience and professionalism while maintaining confidentiality
  • Ability to explain complex processes and procedures in a clear, concise and consistent manner
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a team
  • First Aid certification and/or Ergonomic Assessment training is considered an asset

Hours of Work

  • Monday through Friday, 4.5 days per week (32 hours)
  • Hybrid remote work arrangements are not available for this position
