Junior Administrative Assistant – Contract Role "Building financial foundations for families to empower them today and leave a legacy for tomorrow.” Experior Financial Group is looking for a Junior Administrative Assistant for a 3-month contract to provide administrative support to our team. This is an entry-level position suitable for someone looking to gain workplace experience and develop their administrative skills. The successful candidate will be organized, reliable, willing to learn, and comfortable working in a supportive team environment. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, values teamwork, and consistently strives for excellence in everything they do.
Responsibilities: Welcome visitors and team members in a professional and friendly manner Assist with day-to-day office operations, including filing, scanning, photocopying, shredding, document preparation, and maintaining records Enter, update, and maintain accurate information in company systems, databases, and spreadsheets Receive, sort, package, prepare, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail, and deliveries Maintain filing systems to ensure documents are easily accessible and properly maintained Provide administrative support, including preparing documents, coordinating requests, and assisting with general office needs Support office organization by maintaining supplies, workspaces, and shared areas in a neat and efficient manner Follow established procedures and maintain confidentiality when handling company information and documents Participate as a member of the Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) by attending meetings, supporting health and safety initiatives, and assisting with workplace safety awareness and compliance efforts Participate in office projects, process improvements, and other initiatives as assigned Qualifications: No previous administrative experience required; comprehensive training and guidance will be provided Strong willingness to learn, develop new skills, and take on increasing responsibilities over time Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy Basic computer proficiency with familiarity using Microsoft Office applications Professional, courteous, and effective communication skills, both written and verbal Positive attitude with a willingness to assist others and contribute to a collaborative team environment Reliable, punctual, dependable, and committed to maintaining a professional work environment Must reside and be authorized to work in Canada
