About the role
Strathcona-Tweedsmuir School Strathcona-Tweedsmuir School (STS) is a premier co-educational day school nestled in the Foothills of the Rocky Mountains just outside of the City of Calgary on a 200+ acres campus. As an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, STS offers all three IB Programmes from Kindergarten through to Grade 12.
In addition to the global perspective offered by the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme, the School offers an extensive co-curricular program in a technology-rich environment. Students take advantage of the amazing natural setting including a small pond, forest, and extensive trail system to complement their academic learning.
Position Overview
STS is seeking a Receptionist to work Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm from September to June, alongside another Receptionist. The incumbent will have proficiency in the Microsoft Suite (word, excel, publisher, etc.) and will have a high comfort level with technology with an ability to understand, adapt to, and learn new digital tools and platforms as needed. This position will be subject to a probationary period.
A strong understanding of Canadian independent/private school market is an asset. Qualified applicants must have a demonstrated ability to work in an economically, culturally, and racially diverse environment.
