About This Opportunity

Reporting to the Manager, Feed & Ingredient Logistics, the incumbent will be responsible for creating and maintaining feed requirements in SAP to facilitate the demand planning processes for the Feed Logistics Department. This includes regular weekly processes as well as data entry, variance investigations, budget checks and data tracking. This position is based out of the Winkler Feed Mill.

Responsibilities

Act as a Master Production Planner to plan and process hog feed requirements for internal hog operations. Coordinate with Feed Manufacturing to collaborate on meeting daily production targets. Coordinate with Feed Transportation to ensure that production and transportation are in balance. Maintain internal customer relationships with Hog Barn Managers. Maintain planning databases and SAP logistical information. Create/manage process orders for feed production. Create shipping documents, and process transactions. Assist with period end processes as required. Provide administrative support where required.

Skills & Experience

Post-secondary education in Administration or related discipline considered an asset

Must possess excellent skills in: keyboarding, speed, and accuracy; computer (knowledge of MS Excel and database mgmt.); strong customer focus; interpersonal; analytical; organizational; problem-solving; and, communication (written and oral) Ability to work under pressure and handle several complex tasks simultaneously Valid class 5 driver’s license SAP experience will be considered an asset. Equivalent combinations of education, experience and training will be considered
