This position is being offered as part of the 2026 Summer Employment Opportunities (SEO) Program. The intention of the program is to provide career-related experience to eligible students that are also eligible to work in Ontario.
The SEO Program continues to be a project-based initiative that employs youth aged 15 to 24 years (up to 29 for persons with disabilities) provided by Employment Ontario's Integrated Employment Services, subject to approval. Should the UCDSB not be selected for this program grant, we will still proceed with the recruitment process.

Hourly rate: $17.60
Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Manager of Accounting, the Summer Student will provide support to a wide range of administrative functions and initiatives within the Business Department, including Accounting, School Support, Payroll, Purchasing and Administrative Services. This individual will have exposure to a variety of both operational and special project tasks across the various functional departments.
Hours of work: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, inclusive of a one-hour unpaid lunch.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience:
- Completion of a secondary school diploma and a current student or recent graduate from a college or university program. Preference may be given to students in Business, Finance, Accounting, Payroll, Clerical or similar programs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word or similar software is an asset.
- Previous experience in a computerized office environment is preferred.
