You will coordinate handover documents, deficiencies, homeowner and client requests, trades, materials, and service work while supporting site teams as required. You will also help track and resolve items connected to the delivery, installation, finishing, and performance of prefabricated wall- and floor-panel systems used across Buildforth projects.

AT A GLANCE

• Possible Monday-to-Friday role, with occasional weekends based on business and project demands or 14 on/7 off- dependent on residing location

• A mix of field coordination, homeowner service, project documentation, and hands-on construction support

• Some work may be completed from home when operationally appropriate

• Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications

• Group benefits, EAP, annual safety allowance, referral bonus program, and growth opportunities

WHY THIS ROLE STANDS OUT • Own the coordination that carries a project from active construction through successful handover and warranty completion.

• Work directly with homeowners, clients, site leaders, trades, suppliers, and project teams.

• Build experience with modern prefabricated wall- and floor-panel systems and high-performance construction.

• Balance practical field involvement with organized tracking, reporting, scheduling, and problem-solving.

WHAT YOU’LL DO • Support project handover by collecting, organizing, and tracking required documentation, including operations and maintenance manuals, warranty forms, inspection records, occupancy documentation, and closeout information.

• Identify, document, prioritize, track, and coordinate the completion of construction deficiencies and outstanding turnover items.

• Receive, assess, track, and respond to homeowner and client warranty requests with professional, timely communication.

• Prepare service action plans and schedule warranty and deficiency work with site staff, trades, suppliers, and subcontractors.

• Serve as a primary point of contact for homeowners, clients, and service partners while maintaining clear records of decisions, communication, work completed, and final resolution.

• Coordinate materials, deliveries, shipments, access, and site logistics required for warranty, deficiency, and closeout work.

• Track panel-related items, including delivery or installation damage, alignment, connections, air- and weather-barrier details, window and door interfaces, finishes, and other deficiencies involving prefabricated wall- and floor-panel systems.

• Review drawings, specifications, panel shop drawings, site instructions, revisions, and warranty information to support accurate service planning.

• Maintain current warranty and deficiency logs, photographs, reports, timelines, and supporting records; identify recurring issues and improvement opportunities.

• Complete or assist with carpentry, repairs, finishing, and general construction work when required for warranty service or active-site support.

• Confirm completed service work meets company quality, safety, documentation, and customer-service standards.

• Support site teams with current drawings and project information and assist with day-to-day construction coordination when workload and project needs require.

WHAT YOU BRING • Construction, carpentry, warranty, deficiency, project coordination, customer service, or related experience; a combination of practical field and administrative experience is strongly valued.

• Working knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, materials, drawings, specifications, and quality expectations.

• Experience with prefabricated or panelized construction, wall-panel installation, high-performance building systems, or residential warranty work is an asset.

• Strong organization, documentation, scheduling, communication, customer-service, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to communicate calmly and professionally with homeowners, clients, trades, suppliers, and internal project teams.

• Confidence using Microsoft Office, email, digital photographs, shared project files, and tracking or construction-management software.

• Carpentry training, apprenticeship, trade certification, safety certifications, First Aid, and Fall Protection are assets.

• Valid driver’s licence, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel to active sites and completed homes throughout British Columbia.

• Ability to complete hands-on construction and service work, including the safe use of hand and power tools and the handling of materials as required.

WHAT WE OFFER • Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications.

• Travel support, mileage, LOA, and employer-arranged accommodations when applicable to the assignment.
