What are your contributions to the team?
Analyze and interpret purchase requests in collaboration with Engineering, Methods, and Production teams Manage the procurement of tooling (fixtures, gauges, and specialized equipment) Prepare and issue RFQs and evaluate supplier proposals Establish and maintain strong commercial and contractual relationships with suppliers Lead negotiations on pricing, delivery, quality Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities (TCO approach) Ensure full purchase order lifecycle follow-up (from sourcing to delivery and validation) Monitor supplier manufacturing progress and ensure adherence to project timelines Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet project milestones Manage supplier risks related to capacity, quality, and lead time Support resolution of supplier quality issues and non-conformities Participate in project governance and maintain performance indicators Interact with multifunctional teams (Production, Procurement, Methods, Finance, Manufacturing) Support the integration of new tools into the manufacturing system
How to thrive in this role?
You have 5 to 8 years of experience in procurement within a manufacturing environment You have experience in tooling, equipment, or technical sourcing (asset) You have the ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings (strong asset) You have a good understanding of manufacturing processes You have experience with SAP, Maximo, or Ariba (asset) You have strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills You are able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment You can work in French and English (spoken and written)
