Role Description The Dental Office Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Toronto, ON. This position oversees daily front-office operations, including scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, coordinating billing and insurance, and maintaining accurate records. The Dental Office Manager supports the dental care team by optimizing practice workflows, ensuring adherence to office policies, and implementing systems that enhance the patient experience. This role includes leading and training administrative staff, handling patient inquiries and concerns, and collaborating with clinicians to align administrative processes with clinical priorities. The Dental Office Manager is expected to use technology effectively, monitor key performance indicators, and contribute to a positive, professional environment.
Qualifications Proficiency in Dental Practice Management and Practice Management, including scheduling, billing, insurance coordination, and workflow optimization. Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to interact with patients, staff, and external partners in a clear, respectful, and professional manner. Understanding of Dental Care workflows and terminology to support clinical staff and ensure accurate documentation and patient coordination. Experience with dental or medical practice management software and general office technology (e.g., EHR systems, spreadsheets, email, and reporting tools). Leadership abilities, including team supervision, training, performance feedback, and conflict resolution. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in a dental or healthcare office management role is preferred; relevant certification or diploma in healthcare administration, business, or a related field is an asset.
