IT Support Specialist Responsibilities
Provide Level 1–2 technical support via phone, email, and in person Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and peripheral issues Escalate complex problems to senior IT staff when needed Monitor and maintain IT systems and A/V equipment Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment and software Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls Train employees on IT tools and systems Handle onboarding/offboarding tech setup Support AI and automation initiatives Document tickets and solutions in the helpdesk system Maintain IT asset inventory and ensure compliance Adapt to changing business needs and collaborate across teams
IT Support Specialist Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent experience 2–3 years in IT Helpdesk support CompTIA A+ (preferred) Microsoft AZ-900 (preferred) Windows OS, iOS, Mac OS Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Azure, Intune VPN, wireless tech Advanced Excel (VBA, macros, complex formulas) Power Automate (preferred) Must be able to travel to different client locations throughout the GTA area. Must have a valid full G driver's license and own reliable transportation Able to provide a driver's abstract Able to provide 2–3 professional references Able to work full onsite Able to work Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Able to start at the end of August 2026 German/French is an asset
