Our remote-first team builds and manages payroll infrastructure that ensures accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory adherence — empowering businesses to focus on growth while we handle the complexity behind the scenes.

Role & Responsibilities

Process, reconcile, and audit payroll for multiple Canadian jurisdictions — ensuring 100% accuracy and on-time delivery across bi-weekly and monthly cycles. Manage employee deductions, garnishments, statutory withholdings, and year-end T4/T4A reporting in compliance with federal and provincial regulations. Partner with HR and Finance to resolve payroll discrepancies, address employee inquiries, and implement corrections with audit trails. Administer payroll system (e.g., ADP, Ceridian, Workday) configurations, user access, and integration with timekeeping and benefits platforms. Prepare and submit statutory remittances to CRA, EI, CPP, WSIB, and provincial agencies — maintaining full compliance and audit readiness. Document payroll processes, update SOPs, and identify automation opportunities to reduce manual effort and error risk.
