Job Title: Clinical Placement Coordinator Department: Experiential Learning Location: College Drive Campus – North Bay, ON Status: Permanent Full-Time Hours Per Week: 35.00 Pay Range: Payband F - $32.10 Application Deadline: Wednesday, July 8, 2026 – 4:00 p.m. QUALIFICATIONS: Diploma in Practical Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing required; postsecondary diploma in other fields of health may be considered Three years of recent practical experience in the field of nursing or health administration Demonstrated understanding of medical terminology and all clinical requirements for students from health care agencies Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and work on multiple tasks simultaneously Sound judgement and problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team Ability to gather information, analyze, evaluate, formulate, and recommend appropriate course of action Demonstrated high level of proficiency with computer applications including but not limited to Microsoft Office 365: Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and MS Teams In-person, on-campus position. Must be able to reliably commute to North Bay, ON. DUTIES: Act as the central coordinator and main contact for all community partners for clinical placements Responsible for all aspects of the coordination of student clinical placements including contracts, Liability Certificates, and all documentation required by the agencies and institutions that provide clinical placement opportunities to Canadore students. Identify possible clinical placement sites in consultation with program coordinators Ensure agency contracts are current, initiate updates as required based on programming Schedule placements and provide confirmation of placement to course professors, agencies, students, clinical educators, etc. outlining pertinent details Maintain database for placement requests, locations, agency contacts, clinical dates, clinical instructors Manage and coordinate non-academic requirements with assigned faculty and agency staff Plan and coordinate clinical placement contingency plans with program coordinators Address appeals from students regarding special placement settings Manager and coordinate agency specific training such as E-Doc, ADC, and CBG certification Analyze trends and provide recommendations for patient and student incident reporting Other duties as assigned Applications will be accepted by the Organizational Development and Talent Management Department through our Career Portal at https://www.canadorecollege.ca/about/careers until 12:00 p.m., on the closing date.
