Role: We are a leading real estate development company looking for an experienced Managing Broker to manage our Realty Brokerage, LedMac Realty Ltd. The ideal candidate will oversee the daily operations of our brokerage, ensure adherence to local and provincial regulations, and manage various compliance and licensing responsibilities. This is an exciting opportunity to be positioned in a key leadership role.
Key Responsibilities: Brokerage Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the brokerage and sales activities, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning. Agent Management: Manage, mentor, and support our team of real estate agents, providing guidance and ensuring they meet performance and compliance standards. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all brokerage activities are fully compliant with REDMA, RESA, BCFSA and GV Realtors real estate regulations. Serve as the brokerage’s primary liaison with BCFSA. Licensing: Manage licensing, continuing education requirements for the brokerage’s real estate agents and manage brokerage records. MLS Listings: Review, authorize and sign applicable forms for MLS listings, ensuring all listings meet regulatory standards. Document Management: Review disclosure statements, amendments and marketing materials. Ensure all transaction files, brokerage records and documentation are complete, accurate and maintained in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements: Valid Managing Broker License: A current and active managing broker license is required. Industry Experience: Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in residential real estate, including experience as a Managing Broker with leadership skills and a strong understanding of business operations within a real estate environment. Regulatory Knowledge: Strong knowledge of local real estate laws, regulations, and compliance requirements. Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in real estate software and platforms to efficiently manage operations, listings, and communications. Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead, manage, and motivate a team of agents. Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, agents, and stakeholders.
