Promotional Opportunity: Family Service Supervisor

Full Time 35 hours per week – Minimum Salary $58,456.78

CWA Contractual Promotional Salary Adjustments to be Applied

Excellent opportunity to supervise the work of Family Service Workers, and Human Services staff in the Division of Social Services.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate daily social services operations to ensure efficient workflows and compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations. Supervise, mentor, and support Family Service Workers and related staff, including assigning caseloads, monitoring performance, and identifying training needs. Oversee client service activities, including eligibility determinations, case reviews, service planning, and quality assurance of service delivery. Prepare and maintain comprehensive reports, correspondence, and documentation related to caseloads, operations, and program outcomes. Represent the Division at meetings, support policy and procedure implementation, and assist with resolving operational challenges and improving service processes.

Requirements:

NOTE: Applicants must meet one of the following or a combination of both experience and education. Thirty (30) semester hour credits are equal to one (1) year of relevant experience.

Six (6) years of professional experience in any one of the following areas: (1) gathering social and other information from clients, determining their needs and planning and executing a prescribed plan of treatment or service; (2) examining, adjusting, determining or authorizing eligibility for cash awards or benefits; or (3) in the review, analysis, evaluation, and implementation of public assistance programs.
