Tasks
Develop specific plans to prioritize Plan and organize operational logistics of the organization Prepare and submit reports Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality Train workers in duties and policies Conduct performance reviews Co-ordinate, assign and review work Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies Train staff Review quotations Provide clients with information Prepare bills of lading, invoices and other shipping documents Ensure compliance with government regulations Determine method of shipment Compute shipping costs Arrange for shipping, receiving and storage Arrange for billing for services Affix identifying information and shipping instructions on shipments Keep track of shipments Knowledge of cross border dispatching regulations and practices Provide customer service Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods Compile data to prepare documents
