About Us
Valhalla Flwr is a small, family-run craft cannabis company based in Kelowna, BC. We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our office team. This role will support payroll, QuickBooks, filing, label printing, and day-to-day admin tasks to help keep things running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with bi-weekly payroll preparation and data entry
- Manage QuickBooks tasks, including invoicing, expense input, and reconciliations
- Handle label printing and documentation for packaging
- Maintain organized filing systems (digital and paper)
- Respond to emails and customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Upload and manage internal documents and forms
- Perform general office duties including scheduling, basic admin support, and office upkeep
Qualifications
- Previous experience in an administrative or office support role
- Proficient in QuickBooks (or similar accounting software)
- Familiar with payroll systems or comfortable learning
- Strong data entry skills and attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a small team
- Cannabis industry experience is an asset, but not required
Schedule & Compensation
- Monday to Friday (hours flexible, depending on role needs)
- Wage based on experience
