The successful candidate will need to possess thorough knowledge and experience in all areas of import/export procedures. You must possess excellent organizational and communication skills. An ability to problem solve and customize solutions quickly is crucial. Solid work ethic and dedication will be essential to your success. You should work well in collaboration with others and be an especially hardworking individual. If you have extensive knowledge and a drive to succeed, you will fit in well with our organization.
Duties
Customizing solutions to meet clients specific needs in fast paced environment Handling calls and questions from clients and/or drivers Requesting permits Electronically submitting entries to customs Tracing shipments Setting up releases at Customs Various office duties as assigned
Required Education / Skills
Thorough knowledge of specialized importation requirements (Temporary Imports,
Vehicle Importation, Importations requiring use of OGD, etc.)
College diploma in related field is an asset Minimum five years customs brokerage experience Excellent problem solving skills and ability to customize solutions quickly Above average data entry skills Excellent communication and organization skills Great attention to detail Ability to work with minimal supervision
