The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating daily transportation operations, managing drivers, and tracking deliveries. Responsibilities:
- Serve as the liaison between clients and drivers.
- Plan and coordinate the work schedules of drivers and owner-operators.
- Assign equipment and resources needed for daily operations.
- Collaborate closely with the maintenance department to ensure equipment availability.
- Monitor the activities of drivers and owner-operators.
- Use dispatch and satellite tracking systems, including TMW and PeopleNet.
- Prepare and enter ACE and ACI manifests according to operational planning.
- Respond to client requests professionally and efficiently.
- Participate in the pre-planning of outgoing loads.
- Gradually assist the dispatch supervisor with certain operational responsibilities.
- Serve as a resource for questions related to the PeopleNet system.
- Manage the assignment of CTPAT-PIP seals.
- Monitor operations in the Montreal corridor.
- Perform any other related tasks.

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in dispatch or logistics.
- Good knowledge of driving hours regulations.
- Excellent geographic knowledge of Eastern Canada and the Eastern United States.
- Ability to solve problems quickly and effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- English proficiency for approximately 50% of communications with the United States.
- Comfortable using computer tools.
- Knowledge of the TMW system (an asset).
- High school diploma.
- Postsecondary training in logistics, transportation, or equivalent experience.
Salary: $80,000 per year
Schedule: Day shifts, Monday to Friday
Status: Permanent
