POSITION SUMMARY:
The Customer Service Support role will build and maintain strong relationships with customers, support the Customer Service Representative team members and collaborate with the Sales Team. This role is crucial in ensuring customer satisfaction, which ultimately drives sales growth. The role will manage customer interactions, process orders, and provide support to the sales team, all while maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
Duties include, but are not limited to, as follows:
Customer Service and Sales Support
- Foster positive relationships with customers, Sales Team Representatives and co-workers by communicating professionally and promptly and providing follow up to questions and concerns.
- Provide service to customers by processing orders promptly, providing customers with solutions to their technical and purchasing requirements
- Support the maintenance of customer agreements and trade show documents.
Customer Management

Support customers, co-workers and the Outside Sales Team by understanding and sharing Sales Reports

Maintain customer information and interactions through CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tool enabling the business to stay organized and aligned

Promote specials and new or alternative products when making suggestions to customers.
Team Collaboration
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives or suggestions with team members.
Work in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, WHMIS, applicable legislation, regulations, statutes, and departmental policies/procedures/practices and operational guidelines.
Perform other related duties, as assigned, that are in accordance with job responsibilities and/or necessary departmental or corporate objectives.

Six months to one year work experience in similar role

Experience with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Office, etc.)

Knowledge of well or plumbing products would be an asset

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Physical Environment: Work is performed in a climate-controlled, indoor environment which is clean, well-lit, and quiet.
Physical Effort: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Sitting: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk are common, often while working on a computer.
- Repetitive Movements: Frequent use of hands for typing, mouse control, and handling documents.
- Visual Acuity: Good vision is necessary for detailed work on computer screens and reading documents.
- Lifting: Occasionally lifting and moving office supplies or equipment, typically weighing up to 20 pounds.
- Walking and Standing: Some walking and standing may be required, such as moving between different areas of the office or attending meetings.
- Fine Motor Skills: Precision in handling small tools and other office supplies.
