Your unique perspective, transferable skills, and lived experience may be exactly what we’re looking for. ** Job Description Reporting to the Manager, Development & Events, the Auctions Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the overall revenue development of MLSE Foundation’s, planning, procurement, execution, and stewardship of auction programs in support of the Foundation's Signature fundraising events. This role works closely with internal stakeholders, volunteers, donors, sponsors, and vendors to secure auction items, maximize revenue opportunities, and deliver best-in-class guest experience. The coordinator is responsible for managing the full auction lifecycle, from item sourcing and package development through event execution and post-event fulfillment. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING: Source and secure auction items through donors, sponsors, community, and partner outreach. Develop compelling live, silent, and online auction packages designed to maximize fundraising revenue. Manage MLSE Foundation's monthly auction program, including item procurement, theme development, stakeholder engagement, and coordination of marketing and promotional activities. Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, sponsors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to support fundraising objectives. Maintain an understanding of programs to communicate knowledgeably and enthusiastically about the work of our organization. Manage all auction-related donor communications, including donation agreements, item collection, descriptions, stewardship, and recognition. Coordinate auction logistics, including event-day materials, displays, bid sheets, fulfillment, and winner communications. Maintain accurate auction records, track revenue performance, donor information, item values, and fulfillment status, and prepare regular reporting and analysis. Ensure compliance with Foundation policies, tax receipting requirements, and fundraising best practices. Stay informed on industry trends, emerging fundraising strategies, and innovative auction practices to continually enhance the Foundation's auction program. Other duties include: Overseeing the distribution and management of Foundation season ticket allotments and other functions where necessary YOU’RE A GREAT FIT FOR THIS JOB IF: You are collaborative. You can work independently and autonomously, while ensuring your work is accurate, precise, and detailed in approach. You like things tidy and enjoy organizing, lists, project trackers etc. You are confident using tools like Microsoft office, to support your productivity and are comfortable adapting to changing priorities as needed EXPERIENCE 1-3 years working experience in customer service, community relations, marketing, or project/event management Valid Driver’s License Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to adapt to new software quickly.
