About the Role: As a Product Onboarding Coordinator, you'll be responsible for ensuring new products are accurately and beautifully represented on our Shopify websites. From gathering product information and organizing imagery to writing product details and coordinating launches, you'll play an important role in creating an exceptional online shopping experience.
Working closely with our Digital, Merchandising, Marketing, Photography, and Buying teams, you'll help ensure every product meets Elte's standards before it goes live.
What you will do: Onboard new furniture, rugs, lighting, décor, and accessory products into Shopify. Gather and organize product information, specifications, pricing, dimensions, and imagery from internal teams and vendor partners. Write and format product descriptions, features, and specifications that align with Elte's brand voice. Upload and organize product photography, ensuring imagery meets brand standards. Create and manage product variants, options, collections, tags, and metafields. Review product pages for accuracy, consistency, and completeness before publication. Coordinate with the Photography and Creative teams to ensure products launch with the correct imagery and assets. Maintain product data quality across all digital platforms. Troubleshoot product setup issues and work with internal teams to resolve discrepancies. Assist with seasonal launches, promotions, website merchandising, and ongoing catalog maintenance. Continuously identify opportunities to improve onboarding processes and workflows.
Who You Are 1–3 years of experience in ecommerce, product onboarding, merchandising, or product administration. Experience working with Shopify is strongly preferred. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong organizational and time management skills. Comfortable working with spreadsheets and large sets of product data. Strong written communication skills with an eye for grammar and consistency. Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Interest in furniture, interiors, design, or luxury retail is considered an asset.
Nice to have Experience with PIM systems. Familiarity with image editing tools such as Adobe Photoshop. Experience using AI tools to improve workflow efficiency. Basic understanding of SEO best practices for ecommerce product pages.
Hours of Work: 9am – 5pm, Monday – Friday.
