The Role:

We are seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team. The incumbent will actively engage in the receiving, warehousing, and shipping of product in a manner consistent with company service and cost objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Meet warehouse operational standards by pulling, packing and shipping orders and ensuring shipments are appropriately labelled, packaged and loaded to ship.
• Move inventory to and from warehouse, coordinating inventory transfers with related departments.
• Deliver supplies and equipment to departments by receiving and transferring items.
• Maintain storage areas by organizing floor space and ensuring a clean and tidy work space at all times.
• Maintain inventory by conducting monthly physical counts; reconciling variances; inputting data.
• Organize parts on shelves; replace bin boxes as needed, make sure parts are clearly identified, wash and/or dust shelving and bins.
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
• Accomplish warehouse and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience in warehousing or equipment parts industry
• College diploma or equivalent industry experience
• Previous experience in Health & Safety enforcement is an asset
• Good communication skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders and other supporting teams at all levels of the organization
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including the ability to create/manage spreadsheets in MS Excel
• Knowledge of ERP systems, inventory databases and warehouse management
• Thorough and meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
