Job Overview We are seeking a Sales Operations Consultant to support our business sales team by ensuring the efficient processing of customer orders and sales activities from quotation through order fulfillment. This role serves as a key link between Sales, Technical Teams, Distribution Partners, and Operations to deliver a seamless customer experience while maintaining accuracy throughout the sales lifecycle. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a fast-paced B2B environment. Key ResponsibilitiesSales Quote & Order Management Prepare accurate customer quotations based on technical configurations and partner recommendations. Manage customer orders from quote approval through order processing and provisioning readiness. Review orders for completeness and accuracy to minimize downstream billing or fulfillment issues. Maintain accurate sales records and documentation throughout the order lifecycle.
Sales Operations & Process Improvement Identify opportunities to improve sales workflows and operational efficiency. Utilize AI-powered productivity tools and automation technologies to streamline daily tasks. Monitor order status and proactively resolve issues that may impact customer delivery timelines. Ensure compliance with internal sales processes and operational standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with Sales, Technical Sales, Pricing, Operations, Distribution, and vendor partners to support successful customer implementations. Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely product availability and order fulfillment. Provide operational support throughout the sales process while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
QualificationsRequired Experience Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field. Minimum 2 years of experience in sales operations, sales support, pre-sales, or order management. Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Microsoft Excel. Experience working with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or similar business applications. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Interest in B2B sales operations, process optimization, and operational excellence. Comfortable using modern AI tools to improve productivity and automate routine tasks.
Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of enterprise technology products and business solutions including networking, voice, internet, cloud, and managed services. Experience with enterprise systems such as SAP, Salesforce, BSS, UDB, CCW, UT+, or similar business platforms. Previous experience coordinating with technology vendors or distributors such as Cisco, Fortinet, Dell, HPE, or Avaya. Strong understanding of sales order management, procurement, and fulfillment processes.
Additional Requirements Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical mindset with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement. Bilingualism (English and French) is required for positions supporting operations in Quebec.
