Prairie Land School Division invites applications for a full-time Educational Assistant to support the innovative Prairie Land Rodeo Academy through the Collegiate's unique program of studies. This position offers the opportunity to help build a first-of-its-kind program that blends education, rodeo, agriculture, and rural community engagement. Working alongside students, staff, instructors, industry partners, and families, you will support the coordination of rodeo clinics, competitions, student learning activities, program logistics, and daily operations while helping create a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment where students develop practical skills, leadership, confidence, sportsmanship, and a strong work ethic.

The successful candidate will have excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, start-up environment. A passion for youth development, agriculture, and the western way of life is essential. Experience working with youth, educational programming, rodeo, livestock, or equine management is considered an asset. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and administrative technology, a valid driver's license, and the flexibility to travel and work occasional evenings and weekends are required.

Preference will be given to candidates with post-secondary education or training in education, agriculture, equine studies, recreation, youth development, or a related field, complemented by experience working with youth in school, agricultural, rodeo, or community settings. The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a natural ability to mentor and encourage students while working collaboratively with staff, families, coaches, and community partners. Highly valued assets include experience coordinating programs or events, knowledge of rodeo and livestock management, strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, and the initiative to thrive in a dynamic environment while helping establish and grow an innovative educational program.
