Check out the IAMGOLD Blog Read about our Sustainability Approach About the role: The Senior Executive Administrative Support role delivers high-level administrative support with exceptional coordination skills to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), Chief People Officer (CPO), and Chief Legal Officer (CLO), helping coordinate priorities and manage key responsibilities effectively. The role helps drive executive priorities through cross-functional coordination, consistent follow-up, reporting, and administrative support. It promotes alignment, facilitates information flow, and advances key initiatives while optimizing senior leaders’ time. This high-trust role requires discretion, sound judgment, strong organizational ability, and confidence in managing sensitive business, operational, legal, and people-related information. Responsibilities:

  1. Executive Priority Coordination and Follow-Up Coordinate and track executive priorities, deliverables, and action items to support timely execution of cross-functional initiatives When is requested support effective meeting governance by preparing agendas, documenting decisions, capturing next steps, and ensuring follow-up with accountable stakeholders. Manage calendar prioritization, scheduling, and meeting logistics when requested by management Coordinate travel arrangements, itineraries, expenses, and related logistics to support effective executive time management. Anticipate scheduling, logistical, or coordination conflicts and resolve or escalate them in a timely and professional manner. Provide administrative and logistical support to the executives, including coordinating refreshments and meals, and preparing documents, presentations, and materials for meetings and business activities.
  2. Data-Enabled Executive Reporting and Decision Support Collect, organize, analyze, and synthesize information to support executive decisions, operational reviews, and leadership discussions. Prepare clear and concise briefing materials, dashboards, presentations, and reports for executive, board, and cross-functional audiences. Translate business, operational, and organizational information into key messages, insights, and recommended areas for follow-up. Use available digital tools and reporting systems to improve accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of executive information.
  3. Cross-Functional Alignment and Initiative Support Support coordination across Operations, People and Legal to advance key initiatives and improve enterprise alignment. Facilitate information flow between senior leaders and stakeholders by organizing inputs, clarifying follow-up actions, and maintaining visibility on progress. Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline coordination, reporting, communication, and administrative workflows.
  4. Process Improvement and Future-Ready Ways of Working Develop and maintain tools, templates, trackers, and reporting practices that improve productivity, consistency, and follow-through. Identify opportunities to streamline manual processes, reduce duplication, and improve the quality and speed of information flow. Leverage Microsoft Office tools and other approved digital platforms to support efficient coordination, reporting, and executive preparation. Remain adaptable to evolving business priorities, technologies, and ways of working that support safe, sustainable, and efficient mining performance.

Key Skills & Knowledge: Minimum qualifications, formal education, certifications or equivalents: Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, Finance, Human Resources, Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Working experience - nature and length: Experience supporting senior leaders, executive teams, project-based environments, or cross-functional business coordination. Exposure to data analysis, reporting, executive presentations, or operational coordination is considered an asset. Additional qualifications - competency requirements: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, deadlines, and stakeholder expectations. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear executive-level materials. Analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize information, identify key messages, and support data-informed decision-making. High discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment when handling confidential information. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook; experience with collaboration, workflow, or reporting tools is an asset. Ability to work collaboratively across functions and build effective relationships with senior stakeholders. Continuous improvement mindset, adaptability, attention to detail, and willingness to learn. Bilingualism in English and French is considered an important asset. Leadership Requirements: Demonstrates ownership, accountability, and follow-through for assigned responsibilities. Exercises sound judgment and professionalism when working with senior leaders and sensitive matters. Communicates clearly, respectfully, and inclusively with stakeholders at different levels of the organization. Proactively identifies opportunities to improve processes, coordination, and team effectiveness. Shows learning agility and openness to evolving technologies, business priorities, and ways of working.

Salary Range: CAD $79K-119K + bonus The final offer is determined based on your individual skills, qualifications, and competencies and aligned with our commitment to internal equity.
