If you have: Experience interacting with and presenting to high-level customer contacts Ability to communicate courteously and professionally with suppliers and customers Positive attitude Excellent customer service skills Strong knowledge of windows-based operating system and software Knowledge of MRP/ERP system preferred Purchasing experience preferred Ability to understand forecast and usage Knowledge of cutting tools and their applications Knowledge of automated vending Knowledge of inventory, leadtime and stockouts Advanced problem-solving skills Ability to multi-task Ability to work independently and stay focused Focused attention to detail with the ability to recognize and report issues Willingness to work in a team-oriented environment Familiarity with data entry, filing and record keeping Ability to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation A typical day may look like this: Email warehouse/ tool cribs for product requests to be transferred Check and correct inventory discrepancies Use system to locate available inventory Fill customer orders based on department scheduling Process transactions from crib inventory to machine inventory Deliver inventory when necessary Stock industrial vending machines and/or point of use stations Regular communication with site personnel and customer(s) Evaluate stock levels, order product, call suppliers and expedite orders Respond to discrepancies between purchase orders, packing lists and invoices Contact suppliers to resolve any issues related to shipments received Placement of PO against requisitions Evaluate usage and replenishment records Print reports and purchase orders Order spot buy requests for products not stocked Continually look for better products, compare pricing, and note trends in usage Continually look for process improvements Notify supervisor of notable spikes in usage Report any unusual inventory findings to Supervisor Other duties as assigned 80% Walking/Standing 20% Sitting Lifting up to 50 lbs.
