Rainy River
Situated in beautiful northwestern Ontario, 65 km northwest of Fort Frances, the Rainy River mine is an open pit and underground, gold and silver producing, residential mine site.
The Rainy River mine, located adjacent to the Ontario/Minnesota border is 65 kilometers northwest of Fort Frances, Ontario and is situated half way between Winnipeg, Manitoba and Thunder Bay, Ontario The area is home to more than 130 species of birds and large populations of moose, black bear and deer. If you enjoy outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, winter sports and lake country then this is an area you will love to live and work in.
Applicants who reside in Northwestern Ontario and have experience working in a cross-cultural environment, coupled with knowledge of the unique challenges and opportunities presented to those living in the Northwest Ontario, are assets. About The Role
Position: Underground Maintenance Logistics Coordinator
Schedule: 7/7 - 12 Hour Days
Position Reports To: Senior Reliability Specialist
Position Overview
Under the general direction from the Senior Reliability Specialist this position is the link between the Underground Maintenance and Warehouse teams. Over $5M in goods transfer between the teams annually and this position is required to keep the goods flowing in an organized, documented, and timely manner. This position is also responsible to coordinate component core returns and repairable materials.
Key Responsibilities

Interpret weekly maintenance schedule and coordinate with warehouse and Maintenance Supervisor to plan for parts and components.

Ensure direct purchase and warehouse materials are picked and staged for the upcoming week’s maintenance schedule.

Responsible for the repair and return process of maintenance components (repair/return of stock/direct charge components).

Manage weekly material staging areas.

Maintain materials staging areas in clean and organized manner.

Monitor material returns tagging process (stock/repair/core).

Assist Maintenance Planners with material tracking and planning.

Manage the long-term planning and staging of components (update work orders of material locations).

Maintain and update goods movement trackers (SAP, SharePoint, excel).

Complete shipping requests for core and repairable components.

Attend required work management meetings.
Qualifications
-
3+ years of logistics experience working in an industrial setting.

Minimum grade 12 education or equivalent.

Valid Canadian "G" Class Driver’s license.

Previous SAP experience preferred. Previous experience with CMMS software, including but not limited to JD Edwards, Oracle, MIMS/Ellipse, Pronto, or other would be an asset.

Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to adapt to tight deadlines and immediate change in priorities.

Ability to work with minimal supervision while delivering superior results.

Ability to work safely and effectively in a team environment and independently.
-
Proven track record showing a commitment to health and safety and to environmental protection.
The anticipated salary for this position will be between $75,000 to $86,000.
