Enviros Principles of Practice

Enviros’ Principle Based Practice is a model that utilizes principles to guide and drive action in practice, a decision-making tool in our interventions addressing critical areas of need, and the foundational structure of support for the crucial work we do, incorporating strengths and culture into our day-to-day interactions. This model utilizes core principles to ensure a holistic approach is taken when supporting people.

Position Overview

This position will be working out of Head Office, assisting Administration, Finance, Marketing, and Human Resources with projects including but not limited to:

File management

Filing

Event Planning

Asset Management

Administrative projects

Updating documentation

The successful applicant will receive a well rounded experience, working with all administrative and support departments.

Requirements:

• Individual must be 18-30 years old
• Individual must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act; and
• be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations (international students are not eligible)

Competencies

• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Suite

• Collaborative team play that is creative with strong organizational skills

• Able to adopt to changing situations and being flexible

• Strong communication and de-escalation skills

Other Qualifications

• A current (within 12 months) Alberta Intervention Record Check

• A current (within 6 months) Criminal Record Check including vulnerable sector

Job type: Full time Contract

Pay: $15-$18

Pre‑Employment Background Check Requirements

• Intervention Record Check (IRC)
• Criminal Record Check including a Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC)

Both checksmust be completed prior to the employee’s start date. Please note that this process can takeup to six (6) weeks to complete.

Enviros will accept IRCs and Criminal Record Checks with VSC that areno more than six (6) months old at the time of hire.
