About the role

Permanent Full TimeWe’re seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to support senior leaders within our Great West Internal Audit function. This role is central to enabling a high-performing team—ensuring seamless operations, strengthening organization across complex deliverables, and supporting senior leadership in managing priorities, deadlines, and key deliverables.   This is an opportunity for a strong business partner who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and brings a forward-thinking, solutions-oriented mindset to executive support. The successful candidate will bring strong operational coordination skills, advanced digital fluency, the ability to create structure through practical tools and processes, and a continuous improvement mindset focused on streamlining work and improving team effectiveness.   What you’ll do Executive & Team Enablement

Provide day-to-day support to senior leaders, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and prioritization of competing demands Act as a key point of coordination for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring a seamless and professional experience Support the planning and logistics of meetings, including Board and senior leadership materials

  Operational Excellence

Manage and maintain Internal Audit operational materials and reporting, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and alignment with record retention standards Coordinate travel arrangements, expense management, and general office operations including catering, events and meeting coordination (in-person and virtually Support the team in managing workflow across quarter end deadlines and deliverables through global GRC platform (MetricStream) Use Microsoft 365 tools to strengthen team operations, including SharePoint, Co-Pilot, Teams, Excel, Planner/Lists, and PowerPoint to organise information, manage documents, improve visibility, and support efficient collaboration.

  Document & Presentation Support

Prepare, format, and edit presentations, reports, and materials for senior leadership and Board-level audiences Ensure materials are polished, accurate, and aligned with executive standards

  Invoicing and Financial Administration

Support routine accounting processes, including basic calculations, payment requests, and tracking Assist with preparation of regulatory documentation Partner with internal teams to gather and organize financial information as needed

  Technology & Coordination

Leverage Microsoft 365 tools (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Co-Pilot) to streamline workflows and enhance team productivity Provide light troubleshooting and coordination with internal tech support where required

  What you bring

7+ years of experience supporting senior leaders, ideally within a finance, accounting, or tax environment Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and strong innovation and process minded behaviours Strong communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with senior stakeholders High level of discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment Comfort working with numbers and performing basic financial A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset—you anticipate needs and stay one step ahead Strong relationship-building skills, with a focus on collaboration and service excellence Ability to bring structure and clarity to complex, high-volume work environments   The base salary for this position is between $59,800 - $99,700 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
