Reporting to the Grocery Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following: • Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer-focused approach. • Provide legendary service at all touch points through various communication channels. • Lead a culture of safety to maximize operational efficiency. • Complete of daily reports, cash ups, and other administrative tasks. • Remain present on floor to assist with customer questions, complaints, and comments. • Understand all areas of store operations and supervise the team in their daily duties. • Order, receive, and merchandise product with focus on customer-friendly presentation. • Work with management to improve store efficiency. • Support and follow the Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures. • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Who You Are: You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and Customer Service and meet the following: • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; experience within the Cooperative Retailing System (CRS) would be considered an asset. • Proven experience in using point of sale (POS) systems, processing transactions, balancing tills, and completing end of day procedures. • Honest, trustworthy, results-oriented, and strive to be the best in the work that you do. • Well-organized and capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum amount of supervision. • Strongly service-oriented, motivated, and capable of assisting customers in a courteous and efficient manner. • Able to plan and organize your own work, supervise others, and delegate duties to others. • Able to work in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment. • Possess a flexible work schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
