About the role
Kerr Controls Ltd. (Kerr) is a leading distributor of Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration Equipment, and Supplies. We have an immediate opening for a dynamic, dedicated and highly motivated Inside Sales Representative working from our Corner Brook, NL location.
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team, where you’ll play a key role in supporting warranty processing while maintaining strong customer relationships. This position will focus heavily on managing warranty claims, ensuring accurate documentation, and working closely with our Head Office Warranty Team to ensure timely and effective resolution.
In this role, you’ll use your strong computer skills and attention to detail to manage order entry, complete required paperwork, and follow up on customer inquiries. You’ll also support customers through the warranty process, providing clear communication and dependable service every step of the way.
Key Responsibilities
Process and manage warranty claims with accuracy and efficiency Work closely with the Head Office Warranty Team to resolve claims and inquiries Ensure all required warranty documentation is complete and submitted correctly Perform order entry and maintain accurate records in internal systems Provide timely follow-up with customers on orders, claims, and inquiries Build and maintain strong relationships with customers Support branch operations with administrative and sales-related tasks Adhere to safe and efficient work practices
What You Bring To The Team
HVAC product knowledge and previous Inside Sales experience is preferred Experience with warranty processing or administrative support is considered an asset Intermediate computer skills with a high level of accuracy in data entry Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow through on commitments Excellent communication and customer service skills A positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn Commitment to participating in both technical and professional development opportunities
