We’re looking for a Community Manager to support and guide a team of multi-residential property management professionals. Major recurring responsibilities include managing daily operations, delivering high level of customer service, a variety of administrative duties, expense and budget controls, people management, unit leasing, and building and property maintenance.

RESPONSIBILITIES Customer Service Professionally and courteously handle all inquiries, feedback, complaints or concerns Maintain an overall focus on enhancing the customer experience Ensure open and effective communication measures for residents and site staff Liaison between site staff needs and other departments at Head Office Management Be responsible and accountable for the supervision and activities of all site staff, service providers and contractors Ensure all appropriate logs, inspections, certificates, permits are up-to-date Host weekly team meetings in conjunction with the Property Manager Ensure compliance with all legislation Complete thorough orientation and training of new and existing staff according to established policies and procedures Maintenance Ensure maintenance repairs are completed on a timely basis to ensure resident satisfaction and safety (within 24 – 48 hours) Coordinate month-end duties and responsibilities, including suite pre-inspection, and scheduling of contractors and staff for turnover of suites. Ensure effective communication with residents is consistent with expectations of the TAL Complete incoming and outgoing suite inspections and document as required Perform and document monthly site and vacant suite inspections, routinely follow-up to ensure all deficient items identified are addresses in a timely manner Review and evaluate major repairs to ensure they meet budgetary and operational expenses Manage vendors and ensure repairs issued to contractors are completed as per expectations. Administration and Reporting Complete rent collection, striving for zero arrears each month Work with Property Manager to submit tenant files to the TAL when needed. Issue rent renewals to residents Process all invoices Issue purchase orders and manage accruals and invoice processing to ensure budgetary requirements and financial statements are accurate. Complete any reporting consistent with requirements of the property management contract Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS 3+ years of experience in a supervisory role ideally within property management Property Management/Real Estate experience an asset Must possess valid driver’s license and proof of insurance Intermediate level knowledge of Yardi and MS Office Understanding of TAL legislation an asset Must be a self-starter with high degree of initiative, flexibility, and professionalism Possess knowledge of health and safety practices Available to work flexible hours (on-call for emergencies) WHAT WE OFFER 3 weeks of vacation per year 3 paid personal days per year Half-day every Friday before a long weekend Eligible to participate in our annual performance based bonus program A comprehensive health benefits plan that supports you and your family Up to $2,000 annual education allowance Up to $5,000 annual mental health coverage A friendly, welcoming, and supportive culture Many social and team events!
