Tetra Tech is adding a Project Administrator/ Document Controller / Project Controller to our Project Management team based in Thunder Bay, ON . This is a new vacant position for which we are actively recruiting.

Your Role
Coordinate and control project documentation and filing systems in accordance with company standards. Involved in all project documentation, data management, document system development and organization, quality control and procedure development. Development, management and implementation of quality control procedures on projects. Interface with clients on document delivery, documentation requirements, submissions, reviews as well as tracking and reporting of status. Provide regular status updates on project delivery including documentation and progress on deliverables. Interface with internal project teams for collecting status and progress updates. Use of Autodesk Forma and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word would be an asset. Working closely with the project team and scheduler to support project delivery timelines. Project administration and other project control tasks will be a requirement of this role. Understanding of marketing and customer service is an asset. Prepare, edit and format reports, minutes of meetings, presentations, spreadsheets, memos and correspondence for various project requirements, in support of the project team. Edit and format procurement packages for issue. Support the project procurement cycle as required through documentation, communication and tracking. Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards. Pursue continuous professional development and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness. Work in a safe manner at all times and report all health and safety incidents and concerns. Additional duties as required. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.This may include engineering, science, or business. 2-7 years of experience in project documentation, records management or project control. Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word.Experience with database development would be an asset. Exceptional organizational skills and very strong written and oral communication skills are required. Detail oriented and can work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Previous experience in engineering consulting an asset. AACE or PMP Certification an asset.
The salary range for this position is $50,000 to $65,000 per year. Please note that Tetra Tech considers various factors in determining pay, including but not limited to: education, relevant and demonstrated work experience in the role, skills, geographic location, qualifications, certifications, and other competencies relevant to the needs of the business.
