The Client Action Team (CAT) is looking to add an intermediate level Client Engagement Designer at the Mississauga office. The Client Engagement Designer will come with at least 5 years prior work history and will use their experience to help Client Engagement Directors on key Hatch pursuits. 

 

Accordingly, day-to-day job responsibilities will be determined by the needs and workload of the team, but will likely include: 

Leverage client-focused thinking to develop visual messaging for pursuit materials, including presentations, proposal documents, and leave behinds 

Create various pursuit material graphics, including images and organizational charts 

Contribute to strategy development meetings, including win strategy and presentation preparation* 

Prioritize workload of multiple requests and own quality deliverables 

Bring forward your solutions and recommendations for broader application by the CEDT 

Coach and develop the design capability for the overall Client Engagement Design Team (peers and juniors) 

Bring strong creative vision that transcends details of the assignment and pushes the boundaries of new and innovative design 

Execute ad hoc Client Action Team member requests. 

 

*Travel may be required 

  Qualifications: 

 

This person will have visibility working in Mississauga with Business Unit leads, Managing Directors, and sometimes Executives. The successful candidate must present well, demonstrate business maturity, and the ability to understand and maintain confidential information. 

 

In addition, the candidate should have: 

Post-secondary degree/certificate in Design, Communications, Marketing, Business or relevant field 

Experience with the following office and design tools is mandatory: InDesign, PowerPoint, Photoshop, Illustrator, Word, and Excel 

Strong work ethic and proven ability to manage diverse workload under pressure 

An innate passion for winning 

Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

Commitment to quality work products with high attention to detail 

Critical and analytical thinking skills that can be applied to a variety of scenarios 

Ability to problem solve in the moment and take ownership of results 

Capacity to work well in both in-person and online environments with global CAT members 

Spanish language proficiency preferred

Base salary range: $65,000 - $80,000   At Hatch, we are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. In accordance with legislated pay transparency requirements, the expected salary range for this position is based on current market data and aligned with internal pay structures to ensure consistency and fairness.   Your individual compensation within this range will depend on factors such as skills, experience, qualifications and location.
