Role Responsibilities We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Branch Administrator for the Strategic Policy and Planning branch!The Branch Administrator plays an integral role in the Strategic Policy and Planning branch, leading administrative activities including scheduling, records and information management, and supporting financial processes. The Branch Administrator provides a comprehensive range of administrative activities to support effective and efficient branch operations and to ensure consistency with department and Government of Alberta administrative policies and procedures. Some of the responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:•Providing comprehensive executive support, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements.•Supporting financial administration through budget monitoring, invoice processing, expenditure tracking, reconciliations, and reporting.•Developing and maintaining operational processes and procedures, filing systems, and branch documentation.•Coordinating arrangements related to staff commencements and departures, including accommodations, telephone and IT issues. Qualifications High school diploma and minimum three (3) years of progressively responsible administrative experience supporting senior leaders or executives in a complex, high volume branch environment.Equivalency: Directly related experience or education considered on the basis of: one year of experience for one year of education or one year of education for one year of experience.Assets:•Experience providing administrative support within government, public sector, or large organizations.•Experience with SharePoint or other information management systems.•Experience using Government of Alberta systems, including the Action Request Tracking System (ARTS), 1GX or BERNIE.•Experience scheduling and arranging meeting logistics in an executive office.•Experience supporting financial administration processes.A cover letter outlining how your education, experience, and qualifications relate to this position.
