The Opportunity
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational policies and standards.
Expense Reports
What You’ll Be Doing
Review, verify, and process employee expense reports in accordance with company policies. Ensure all expenses are properly documented and categorized. Collect and verify receipts for all purchases.
Bill Entries
Enter and maintain vendor bills in the accounting system. Assist in tracking due dates and ensuring timely payments to vendors.
Credit Card Records
Maintain accurate records of company credit card transactions. Collect and verify receipts for all credit card purchases.
Credit Card Reconciliation
Reconcile monthly credit card statements to ensure all transactions are accounted for. Investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly.
General Accounting Support
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks as needed. Contribute to month-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations. Maintain organized and up-to-date accounting files and records.
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a college diploma in a related field. 1-2 years of accounting experience is preferred, but recent graduates with strong academic performance are welcome to apply. Professional proficiency in both English and Spanish (written and spoken) is required. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Excel and Google Sheets. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

$50,000 - $60,000 a year
Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as internal equity, candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role. If your compensation expectations fall outside of this range, we still welcome your application.
