About the role
- Assist in planning and executing fundraising initiatives, campaigns, and community-based donor activities.
- Support with drafting fundraising materials, donor communications, thank-you messages, and event promotions.
- Help maintain fundraising databases, donor lists, and contribution records with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Conduct research on potential donors, sponsors, grants, and community funding opportunities.
- Assist with coordinating logistics for fundraising events, including outreach, registrations, and volunteer support.
- Track donations, pledges, and participation metrics, preparing simple reports for the team.
- Support administrative tasks related to fundraising, including organizing receipts, preparing documentation, and assisting with reimbursement processes.
- Work with staff to ensure all fundraising activities align with organizational goals and messaging.
- Communicate with community partners and supporters to promote initiatives and build relationships.
- Participate in meetings and contribute creative ideas for campaign strategies and donor engagement.
- Help create content for social media or newsletters to highlight fundraising efforts and impacts.
- Participate in training to build skills in fundraising, administration, communications, and event coordination.
