PROJECT COORDINATOR

Construction Projects, Handover & Warranty

Keep projects organized, communication clear, and every detail moving toward completion.

Buildforth by Paradigm is hiring a Project Coordinator to support construction projects from planning and active delivery through handover and post-occupancy service. This role is central to keeping project information accurate, coordinating outstanding work, and helping teams, clients, and homeowners move confidently through each stage of a project.

You will work closely with the Construction Manager, Project Managers, site teams, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, clients, and homeowners. A key focus of the role is ownership of warranty coordination and deficiency management from initial reporting through final resolution.

AT A GLANCE

Monday-to-Friday role with some flexibility based on project and site requirements

Travel to active and completed project locations throughout British Columbia

Work may take place on construction sites, at company or project locations, and occasionally from home when approved

Own warranty coordination, deficiency tracking, scheduling, documentation, and follow-up

Work across project planning, active delivery, handover, closeout, and post-occupancy service

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Support project planning, scheduling, execution, reporting, and closeout.

Maintain organized project records, including contracts, drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, change orders, permits, insurance documents, and compliance records.

Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, and follow up on milestones, risks, deadlines, and action items.

Keep current drawings, schedules, specifications, and other required information available to site teams and project partners.

Coordinate suppliers, subcontractors, service resources, shipments, and material deliveries as required.

Organize handover and closeout materials, including manuals, warranty forms, occupancy documents, and inspection records.

Identify, document, and track deficiencies and outstanding scope items through completion.

Receive and coordinate homeowner and client warranty requests, gather relevant information, and help establish practical action plans.

Schedule warranty inspections and service work with homeowners, clients, trades, suppliers, and site staff.

Maintain complete records of warranty communications, actions, costs, outcomes, and final resolutions.

Attend site walks, inspections, handover meetings, and service visits, documenting outcomes and required follow-up.

Monitor recurring warranty issues and report on trends, response times, and resolution status to support continuous improvement.

Support quality control and, where qualified, provide minor repairs or construction assistance for service or scope gaps.

Follow all company and site-specific safety requirements and maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas.

WHAT YOU BRING

Experience in construction project coordination, site administration, warranty service, carpentry, or a related role.

Working knowledge of construction processes, drawings, specifications, deficiencies, handover, and warranty documentation.

Strong organization and follow-through, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, records, and service requests.

Clear written and verbal communication, professional customer service, and practical problem-solving skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management or construction software such as Procore, MS Project, or similar systems.

A valid driver’s licence and reliable ability to travel to project sites.

Practical construction or carpentry knowledge, comfort with basic hand and power tools, and relevant safety certifications are assets.

Ability to safely access active construction areas and work around typical site conditions, including noise, dust, uneven surfaces, changing weather, and required PPE.
