As part of a dedicated, professional team, you will be providing essential administrative and member services to clients and plan members with respect to defined benefit pension plan administration. As a Pension Technician, you will deliver high-calibre professional service, handling complex member inquiries, tax compliance updates, and case management with precision and care. Your various responsibilities will allow you to use your analytical skills on a daily basis—from processing member updates and managing tax deductions to preparing reports and assisting colleagues—allowing you to flourish in a stimulating and rewarding career. Being Part of Our Team Means Working with a dynamic, collaborative team dedicated to member excellence Growing through stimulating mandates and meaningful projects Having clear career opportunities for professional development and advancement Enjoying flexible work arrangements – hybrid (office and remote) or fully remote options Benefiting from a flexible schedule and comprehensive benefits program Contributing to the financial security of our pension plan members Your Responsibilities Process member updates (address, name, language changes) and track cases through Tasknet Handle tax-related updates, including TD1 forms, T4A and RL-V2 mailings, aligned with payroll cycles Respond to tax inquiries and send reach-out letters for missing information Manage BMOI and personal mail inboxes; assign mailings to C'Ops and draft correspondence Input client information into internal databases and maintain accurate records Examine documents and case files; respond to member and client inquiries Provide support and training to Call Centre staff Prepare monthly and quarterly reports Perform other related tasks as assigned Core Qualifications College diploma in office administration or equivalent Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong customer service and team collaboration abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office suite Proven attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Experience in pension plan administration (asset) A bit about us We’re a people-focused, customer-first, purpose-driven team who works together every day to innovate and do good.
