About the role

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

One Full Time Position ? 40 Hours per Week

We are currently expanding our Administrative department with the addition of one enthusiastic and task oriented Administrative Assistant supporting our operations from our Lethbridge office. The Inspections Group Inc. is proud to have provided safety compliance monitoring services in the building, electrical, plumbing, and gas disciplines for 25 years throughout Alberta and employs a hard working team of individuals who share in their passion for providing excellent service.

Job Responsibilities include:

  • Entering in permit information and generating documents
  • Use of Excel to manipulate spreadsheets
  • Providing excellent customer service to clients through phone, email, fax and in person
  • Processing data with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Receiving and review permit applications for compliance with eligibility criteria.
  • Performing general office duties which may include filing office documents and maintaining filing systems, answering telephones, responding to routine inquiries and other duties as assigned.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years? experience in an office environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to demonstrate time management skills to handle a high volume or varied tasks while maintaining quality control
  • Intermediate computer skills including experience with Word, Access, and Excel
  • Strong set of ethics relating to customer confidentiality
  • High attention to detail

* Experience with Compliance Monitoring and the Safety Code Standards, seen as an asset.

* Preference will be given to applicants who have successfully completed a recognized administrative assistant program.

Our ideal candidate would be professional, self-motivated, and possess the ability to work independently and in a team environment. Excellent organizational skills and customer service skills are a must.
