Operations Supervisor
WORK HOURS:
Part time position with the potential for additional hours, dependent on volume of work.
Office hours are Monday to Friday between 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Sensors Quality Management Inc. is a Toronto based company that specializes in the implementation of worldwide Quality Assurance, Market Research and Mystery Shopping Programs. The company services clients in a variety of different industries.

The business involves a fast paced and deadline oriented office.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This is an entry level position that provides great experience for individuals that are interested in either a career at SQM, or in a variety of jobs requiring high level English writing skills. Alternatively, the position would be great someone with a lot of experience who just wants to keep busy and enjoys challenges.
This person will report directly to the Operations Supervisor.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Editing incoming reports (i.e. inspections, audits, Mystery Shops, surveys, etc.)
- Proofreading documents (i.e. forms, instructions, marketing materials, manuals, newsletters etc.)
- Review and edit a variety of documents for clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
- Proofread reports, proposals, and other materials to ensure high-quality standards.
- Maintain style guides and ensure adherence to company standards.
- Conduct research to verify facts and improve content quality.
- Data Entry
MISCELLANEOUS DUTIES:
In our line of business, there is always some other work that will come up, and have to be done, so other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate will possess or be currently working towards a Degree, Diploma or Major in Business, Communications, English, Journalism, Literature, Linguistics, or Translation. A critical eye for detail is essential for the position. A working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Email and the Internet is mandatory. An understanding of Lotus Notes would be an asset. Strong communication (both written and oral) and outstanding organizational skills are a must. Enthusiasm, energy and a goal / results-oriented attitude are prerequisites. Preference will be given to bilingual applicants especially those with a proficiency in English and French. Success in this position lends itself to career advancement within the company.
