About the role
Job Description Responsible for the administration of various Recruitment and HR related processes and for coordinating recruitment activities, systems and processes for the designated business group. Oversees recordkeeping, posting and candidate tracking obligations, invoice processing, vendor management, as well as weekly/monthly/ad-hoc reporting. May assist in sourcing, screening and other recruitment activity. Key Accountabilities: Assist in posting positions to various job boards and on campus career sites Maintain accurate and well-ordered documentation on candidates, interview schedules and other recruiting activities using applicant tracking system (RBC uses ‘Workday’) and other filing systems Schedule interviews for Recruiters and Hiring Managers, and arrange any necessary candidate travel Process vendor invoices and manage vendor database for existing and future contracts Clearly and effectively communicates recruiting procedures, detail and status to candidates, Recruiters and Hiring Managers May assist in screening and evaluating resumes, as well as sourcing candidates Order, prepare and organize marketing collateral; manages and ships materials for job fairs, campus events, as necessary May assist with orientation/offer letters/background checks, as necessary Special projects, as assigned Knowledge and Experience: Bachelor Degree 2-4 years of related (recruitment/staffing/HR) Business experience - Previous experience from a major financial services firm is desired Previous experience with legal contracts would be an asset Experience with Workday would be an asset Skills and Competencies: Proven problem solving skills; Analytical skills - Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and Internet skills Previous experience dealing with highly confidential information Attributes: Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational, time management and process management Attention to detail Job Skills Communication, Data Gathering Analysis, Desktop Tools, Detail-Oriented, Human Resources Operations, Human Resources Policies, Interpersonal Relationships Additional Job Details Address: ROYAL BANK PLAZA, 200 BAY ST:TORONTO City: Toronto Country: Canada Work hours/week: 37.5 Employment Type: Full time Platform: HUMAN RESOURCES & BMCC Job Type: Contract (Fixed Term) Pay Type: Salaried Posted Date: 2026-07-13 Application Deadline: 2026-07-20 Note: Applications will be accepted until 11:59 PM on the day prior to the application deadline date above Our Employment Opportunities At RBC, we are guided by living shared values of Client First, Integrity, Collaboration, Respect and Excellence and winning together as One RBC.
