About The Role
Capital Vision Care is hiring optometric assistants to support our optometrists and patients across six Edmonton-area clinics. It is a hands-on, people-focused role, and we provide training, so optometry experience is helpful but not required.
Day to day
What You Will Do
Perform patient pre-testing and diagnostic imaging Prepare patients and rooms for their exams Support optometrists during appointments Help with scheduling, records and follow-up Keep equipment clean, calibrated and ready to use
About You
What We Are Looking For
Detail-oriented, dependable and great with people Comfortable learning and using clinical technology A team player who keeps calm in a busy clinic Healthcare or optometry experience is an asset, not a must
