Job Description The Logistics Coordinator plays a vital role in our team based in Fort McMurray, Alberta, and is responsible for supporting the transportation and accommodation needs of employees by ensuring efficient and economical travel. What would you be doing? Coordinate and manage all employee travel, flights, and accommodations using internal booking systems, client platforms, and external vendors. Maintain consistent communication with employees, site leadership, operational teams, support departments, and clients to ensure all travel logistics are accurate and up to date. Manage relationships with travel vendors (e.g., Air Canada, Sun Taxi) and oversee the full end-to-end travel booking process. Obtain required client approvals for travel arrangements and ensure all bookings align with company and client requirements. Schedule and book initial on-site training for employees as needed. Ensure compliance with company and client travel procedures, standards, and policies. Prior experience in the oil and gas or industrial site environment is considered an asset. Experience booking flights, camp rooms, and coordinating crews is strongly preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization and external clients. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines. Proven ability to collaborate with diverse teams and take full ownership of end-to-end travel and logistics processes with minimal oversight. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word, with solid problem-solving abilities and strong attention to detail. Additional Information As a condition of employment, qualified applicants who accept the role must complete a satisfactory pre-employment Background Check.
