Role Description The Insurance Broker TSR role is a full-time, on-site position based in Newmarket, ON. In this role, the team member will handle the underwriting of new business and the inputting of data into the individual company portals.
Qualifications Administrative and organizational skills, such as managing documentation, updating records, and handling multiple tasks with attention to detail. Technical proficiency with office software, brokerage management systems, and the ability to learn new tools and carrier platforms. Knowledge of personal and/or commercial insurance products, policy terminology, and basic underwriting concepts. Ability to work effectively in an on-site team environment in Newmarket, ON, with reliability and professionalism. Relevant insurance education or licensing (e.g., RIBO or equivalent) is an asset; previous experience in an insurance or financial services setting is preferred.
